Do you like hiking, fishing, fall colors and GIVING BACK?
Join us on the White River for our first ever Backpacking for Charity, in support of Outdoors Empowered Network. The Outdoors Empowered Network aims to affect a generation by connecting youth to nature by breaking down the barriers to access—fear, expensive equipment, transportation, and trained adults to take them on immersive outdoor trips. OEN is a growing a network of Member Programs to share resources and amplify impact by creating opportunities for as many youth as possible to experience wilderness.
Hike along the scenic White River and her tributaries knowing a large portion of your fare is going to support an organization that does so much to help urban youth gain the accessibility and leadership needed to begin building a meaningful connection to nature.
These waters are among the best fishing for the fall salmon and steelhead so if fishing if your thing, this will be a great opportunity to enjoy these pristine waters. If you’re not into fishing, this is still a great trip for hiking, leaf peeping and relaxing under autumn skies among peaceful rivers. We hope to have you along as we strive to bring for youth outdoors alongside the Outdoors Empowered Network.
